FAQ
Q. What weight of canvas do you use?
A. We use 10oz Sunforger sailing canvas factory treated for fire, water, mildew, and UV protection of the highest quality. After 20 years of building quality tipis and using them in Montana's extreme climate, we believe this canvas to offer the highest quality and endurance.

Q. Are the smoke pole flaps and lacing pin holes reinforced in any way?
A. All seams are flat-felled double stitched - the best way to sew a cover. In addition, all stress points are reinforced with leather. Lacing pins are hand pealed willow, which give a great authentic look. Poles are hand pealed lodge pole pine, which also adds character and style.

Q. How are the stakes inserted?
A. Stake loops are nylon sewn to 1 inch cotton webbing which are sewn to the cover. Our liner ties to the poles giving correct spacing and a great look.

Q. How are your tipis different from the others?
A. We are a full service Tipi Company and use the best materials available. We assemble your product by hand in Livingston, MT. We are also available to deliver, set up, and take down our products. We make a quality product and are proud of it, as you will be.

Q. Do you have tipis in stock? If not how long does it take to receive an order?
